It was shameful act towards innocent person, I know most of them they don't understand the source of the ongoing conflict in that region. Thanks for South Africa Police Service who protected me and I was able to cross and get to my place safely, which just few blocks from the DRC Embassy in Pretoria.

Jamani pole sana kwa kuattackiwa!!!Thank God you're fine. I can understand the frustration of the Congolese but I cannot accept either that they threat innocent people like you.
I think you're right about the reasons for the war that many nations, companies, and guerrilla groups are interested of the natural resources in Congo. It's a very complicated conflict but I think part of the solution is to try to share the resources somehow equally.
I'm involved in an organisation here in Finland that is going to do a campaign about the war on Congo. We will approach some transnational companies who use resources and minerals from Congo. We will urge these firms to use their influence and power to end the violence in Congo.
It's difficult to bring peace to Congo but at least we can try to do something.
Keep the courage brother & keep fighting for justice & tolerance in Rwanda & South Africa!
